I just install a Überwachungsanalage with several D-Link IP cameras. The signal transmission takes place via WiFi, only the power must be connected. To this end, I bought several of these cable as an extension cable.

To make it short: It's not working. The cable is for the average length of 5m just to small to provide sufficient power would be possible. Although devices that make do with less work (I have among other things a simple LAN switch tested), but not the mentioned cameras.
