Positive:
- It does what it says, namely nostalgia. The streets and stations carry the pre-war name of the ancient capital city Berlin. The currency in the game is the good old Reichsmark. The Corporate and Event cards are printed in old orthography.
- The houses are made of wood and are slightly larger than the plastic. Advantage: they do not wobble back and forth at dice. Drawback: it does not fit 4 houses on a street.
- The figures are made of bronze (hat, thimble, dog, car, rail and shoe), acts as the nostalgic iron.
- The cover is made of sturdy metal. For me was a reason to buy, because our old Monopoly was quickly drawn into the carton affected. But in this I will cover the game probably can not bequeath ;-)
Negatives:
- The Corporate and Event cards consist only of simple cardboard. Could be that way at that time was, but in my view we would have that can calm or weld overlay otherwise.
- The game board is slightly smaller than that of newer versions.
All in all, this is one of Monopoly in the possession of anyone who is enthusiastic about the good old days (and fed up with these new, crazy versions such. B. World Travel, Europe, Germany has, etc.).
