Normally I do not buy piecemeal albums, but this disc I have deliberately chosen. As a reminder of concerts attended in my childhood, with Münchinger as conductor. There are fond memories. I was fascinated by the way of conducting Münchinger. He often led the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, an experienced, good team. Münchinger in lace dress coat (somehow fit the to him and his style, we therefore often called him "Penguin", he seemed so, children just ..). In music, he seemed completely to be working to some songs he danced almost on the podium, for example, the Bach Cantata BWV 147 or the Minuet for String Quintet, Op.13, No.5, of Boccherini, which he, inter alia, very often at the end of the concert elected as an encore. Besides the fact that many of these sets of CD apply "worn" than because they have to serve as a famous bravura again, this disc has succeeded. For me it has served its purpose.
