Nostalgic show running a cult series

The "Command & Conquer" series is probably now one of the most venerable Games series of previous gamblers history. Whether the Dearest GDI fight against the champagne Spinner of NOD, imperialist allies against communist Soviets proceed ("Red Alert") or the oh-so-advanced western World against red Chinese and merciless terrorists pulls into the field ("General") hardly plays a role in points game. Total 6 RTS classics along with their complete additional discs are contained in this package. Below I'm going to touch on the included individual games:

- Command & Conquer - The Tiberiumkonflikt:
Almost timeless classic, one of the founders of the genre, if one disregards "Dune 2". The graphic is now of course a joke, but playfully reveals itself still an enormous value. In Windows 7, it comes with me unfortunately to some display errors (oversize green, rose, etc. pixels in the video sequences), but that does little in the actual game experience. There is also the mission CD "The state of emergency" that captivates for more hours in front of the monitor. For nostalgics a great way to reactivate the old charm.

- Command & Conquer - Red Alert:
Technically the "Tiberian" of course very similar, there is also a problem in the video sequences under Win7, but here also changes nothing in the actual game. Playful no less captivating and both mission-CDs ("Counterattack", "retaliation") are also included. Story-wise equally captivating as an alternative universe is shown in the supply to the power blocs of East and West a rigorous open game. Part there is some getting used to unrealistic units, but science fiction is just science fiction.

- Command & Conquer - Operation Tiberian Sun:
Continuation of the "Tiberium conflict" with extremely elaborate video sequences for even Hollywood ... could be well let's say second or third Guard undertake (including Michael "Terminator / Kyle Reese" Biehn or James Earl Jones (damn versatile of "Conan the Barbarian / Thulsa Doom "to the original voice of Darth Vader in the" Star Wars "movies Jones has the finger throughout the game). - Command & Conquer - Renegade:
The first and only 3D shooter in the "C & C" universe. Graphically ok for that time, but already there is not outstanding. Story-wise rather lame, but the multiplayer is at LAN parties sometimes still popular. Certainly the weakest game in this package.

- Command & Conquer - Red Alert 2:
Comic prequels and sequels of East-West conflict from the first part. The graphic was often criticized for their politeness "candy" and is actually in style to some getting used to. Playful but clearly a child of his ancestors and recommended it. The video sequences have also been implemented at great expense, including one meets Udo Kier ("Iron Sky") and Ray Wise ("Jeepers Creepers"). Noteworthy is the high number of highly original units. The AddOn "Yuri's Revenge" is also included.

- Command & Conquer - Generals:
The latest game in the series has now also good 10 years on the hump, but is still very popular in multiplayer, which is due to the very successful unit balance. It tells the story of the struggle of the Western Pact against a terrorist-inspired "Liberation Army". The Chinese also want their share of world power and mix vigorously in this conflict. Graphically still bearable, with musical sounds that could come from a patriotic Michael Bay movie, but unfortunately without exciting video sequences. Along with the additional disk "zero hour" to this day one of my absolute favorite genre.

Bottom line, this collection months of gameplay at a saugünstigen price. Those who like "Old School" is anyway happy and who just like gambles strategy games with the possibility of the base structure in real time, can actually blind access. Who is, however, departs on pixels blood disappointed in all parts of it are everywhere "only" Cyborgs on fighting, you should like to thank the German censorship and cutting authority.
