"Songs from St. Somewhere" brings 16 new Buffett songs; in times of 10-track CDs can I find the almost extraordinary. I personally feel that the CD has not really bad number, but also highlights are scarce. Most likely on a Buffett concert I could still "Tides", "Cadillac for Sale" and "Rue de la Guitare" (which he actually played on the last concert) imagine. "Too Drunk to karaoke" probably has hit potential, which I do not like the song; But what also can simply lie on the duet partner.
As Buffett fan you will always be right with "Songs from St. Somewhere": the usual Buffett feeling adjusts itself partially, the instrumentation is true; (often to read on the net) the criticism of Buffett's voice I can not understand. For the First Time, I would rather not recommend "Songs from St. Somewhere"; as it is, rather resorting to a live CD; I personally like "Live from Anguila" scary good.
