Transit Of Venus (Audio CD)

Customer Review

First of all: Three Days Grace has developed with "Life Starts Now" to my absolute second-favorite band by Papa Roach, the album was just awesome!

Therefore, the expectations were at this one also very large, had the good fortune to be still on 2 October in America, so I was able to get the album still buy, because there may not currently be really delivered!

So here's the individual song ratings:

1. Sign Of The Times .. 7/10 - could already partly heard in a YouTube video, is really become a pretty horny Opener
2. Chalk Outline .. 6/10 - the first single, indeed solid song, but in my opinion too weak as a single
3. The High Road .. 6/10 - again only a solid number without great highlights
4. Operate .. 7/10 - cool song, but I think I still: Where is that 3DG, as described for example in Animal I Have Become or No More simply had superior numbers?
5. Anonymous .. 6/10 - again an "OK-Song"
6. Misery Loves My Company .. 5/10 - the level will be even weaker
7. Give In To Me .. 6/10 - Michael Jackson Cover, dared quite successful but again not outstanding
8. Happiness .. 7/10 - pretty good song remains, depend partly, but it is again followed by a prolonged period of weakness starting with:
9. Give Me A Reason .. 4/10 - slower number, adhere nothing special what remains
10. Time That Remains .. 3/10 - Huh? terrible!
11. Expectations .. 1/10 - what's that? am really shocked now
12. Broken Glass .. 4/10 - a bit better, but still not what I would hear often unfortunately
13. Unbreakable Heart .. 8/10 - Finally, again a touch of the old 3DG, best song from the album, resourceful, good melody and super chorus!

Conclusion: it Have now heard quite often and it does not increase also unfortunately with repeated listening, I do not want now to say it's a completely bad album, 3DG fans with a song or two have their joy, but seen overall, are simply too many filler or inconsequential songs dabei..Leider but clearly weakest 3DG album so far (while Papa Roach with The Connection gave their best!)

Hope to have helped!
