I love Vonnegut! All my heart. He has the best and blackest humor. He paints a picture of the world as it could not be more depressing, but true. Although the book is better suited to the time of the Cold War and the nuclear bomb, the issues are still relevant and indeed partially acutely. One would indeed only think it was just an issue, but Vonnegut manages to pick up as many issues and to provide food for thought if you just times reads properly and intensively. His subjects may indeed for most people always comes out too dark: doomsday, destruction of the earth, destruction of mankind by mankind but people read it, you will be as so so loud laugh. The topics come neither pathetic therefore, still with raised finger.
I've read the book in English and have otherwise only with classics now and then problems with a few words and must look them up in this book by Vonnegut happened to me that he also used occasional rare words and expressions. The reference was indeed for the purpose not necessary, but I was still curious.
Unlike other Vonnegut I found this but not consistently well. It is full of humor and the unusual, but my favorite book, it will not. Nevertheless unconditional reading recommendation for all who want to over power and power games, religions and what they can do, read, want to be doing slain by sentimentality or morality without.
