2. As might be expected, the quality of cover songs is mixed, tended to be poor. Much comes from the CD "The Fox Lies Down", unfortunately, was taken out because the worse. Your Own Special Way, already in the original song is a weak, unspeakably, the Brand X version of Can-Utility disappointed (when you consider what a great band Brand X, have that can really make something out of it).
3. Of course, the original recordings of Anthony Phillips and Steve Hackett (live) are top, but just The Geese and The Ghost is a CD of a piece as a whole and much much nicer, and what Genesis fan has not?
4. Extremely annoying re-cut version of the Flower Kings Cinema Show, here missing 4 Minutes, a live recording, which disappears the same (hiding) Peter Banks very interesting recording (the Brand X CDs by drumming and the other musicians but her better).
5. stay put forth by Genesis distant shots. Bruford, yes who plays on a tour (before Chester Thompson) with Genesis, but that's why Money by Pink Floyd is still contrived for Genesis environment by the hair. Daryl Stuermer, bleak as ever.
6. Tony Banks orchestral recordings, so sorry I am, are compared with what others make so as to orchestral music in the rock area on the legs (Joe Jackson, Terry Bozzio, Carl Palmer, even Jon Lord and Keith Emerson) easy inferior (less exciting).
7. If the positive.
- Extremely nice artwork, a bit thoughtful text, lovingly made.
- A cool jazz version of "Follow You, Follow Me" by Chester Thompson, (the only version that I like)
- The beautiful voice of Ray Wilson (unfortunately crowing in the background with another).
- Johnny Warmans "Screaming Jets" is Gabriel's participation to Gabriel song
Conclusion: Good idea, lack of really interesting material but with no added value; I do not think it is worth buying.
