The empty appliance is displayed as a storage device with 104.9 MB (OSX) as soon as a HD is equipped it is displayed properly.
4K Formatted media are unfortunately not recognized properly, without any other problems

The dealer has but an honest effort to solve the problem in the return mail he sent me a replacement unit.
