Under time pressure, the three try somehow to get hold a similar piece (note the now and then ticking clock in the background), while sequentially emerge with "Prince Valiant" and the familiar Skinny Norris as nocturnal intruder more interested.
"The Curse of the Dragon" produced with economical means voltage (time pressure, mystery of origin of the vase), and relies on the one hand on the pun of the three ???, and secondly on junkyard atmosphere and familiar characters like Mathilda (again delightfully aunt moderately ) and the usual broken Skinny Norris (a touch of ghetto in Rocky Beach ..., note the quote from "The Haunted Manor", episode 11).
The trio focused without many accessories and cinnabar as long-distance travel to Egypt, mountaineering or the like on a rather complex investigation - step by step discovers new facts, which beautifully contrasts with the detective thin board drilling one way or another recent episode. The whole thing closes with an original solution in the circle of suspects in the style of Agatha Christie (though the solution called "Curse of the Dragon" does not justify in the least).
High praise for the soundtrack, also here a mix of new and old and entirely consistent.
