General:
The tablet comes with an almost standard Android 4.1. There are hardly senseless Manufacturers apps installed, which I like very well. Also, the delivery is very good, you get everything you need + a bag supplied, which is really exemplary.
Power:
There are two sides of the coin. On one side the tablet impressed with really good performance in synthetic benchmarks.
Antutu Benchmark: 14953, beating a Nexus 10 tablet with 13642
Quadrant Benchmark: Total: 4937 CPU: 14797, Mem: 4429, I / O 3461, 2D: 450 3D: 1546
But the benchmarks also reveal the great weakness of the device. The SD Memory is simply lame beyond belief. But you have to come from the price. Also hardly notice the power during normal uses, because it often comes here to lag and longer load times.
Display:
The display is really good, the high resolution ensures highly readable font with sharp contours. The color reproduction is fine. Only the backlighting is very weak. A readability in direct solar radiation is not given. The backlight adjusts very obvious so that one always perceives adaptation.
Processing:
One can not expect a quality of an iPad for 299 is clear to me, however, I have been greatly disappointed. The device is stable and possessing a similar metal back and were already all the positive characteristics. The biggest drawback is that are many air pockets between glass / panel and display. Many in the area of the frame and even in the area of the display (see photo).
WIFI:
An absolute disaster and for me the reason why the tablet back. The connection speed is mediocre and the connection breaks off again. And after some searching on the net seems to suffer from the same problem the previous tablet.
