However, what I find very sad is that DSL and telephone socket are not separated but are summarized in a terminal box. This construction is split with a Y-cable. That was very annoying for me because I had to replace my old Tlefonanalage and the Fritz Box SL WLAN by a device and anyway are already 10m long cable. So I had to buy myself a suitable adapter (not included), as the approximately 5 m were insufficient and I could not change my installation.
If the Y-cable's go broke, it is difficult to get a substitute for it. Find the real pity because that would have been enough room for separate sockets (otherwise rather a LAN connection less).
From the USB device function, I had expected more.
Although printers work, but no status information (ink, paper jam, out of paper, etc.) are transmitted, so that this feature is only very limited use. Consider me to connect the printer via Y-cable to both the home PC as well as on the box to least there to obtain the status information. However, I have no idea if it works.
-Masenspeicher: Opens with Festplattem good, but access via ftp to get used to and not directly comparable to the comfort of their own drives or drive letter, as everything must first be cached locally.
My card reader does not work at the Fritz! Box, as seems at present only a mass storage (hard drive) despite USB hub to be managed.
The Stick & Surf function is really handy. (Stuck AVM stick in system and it receives regarding all data. Verschlüselung, network ID and password.)
Conclusion:
Because of these shortcomings, only 4 points, everything is as I said otherwise super!
