1. Finally Watching football in CAPITAL. :-)
Yes! The sports shop on Saturday and the internationals finally in really big as 55 inches! Of course, in HD.
This looks super-brutal good. :-)
I have the same test basis, the semi-finals Germany-Brazil looked again with my pals (have taken all the games of the team since 2006).
The size has to be really feel it! 3 meters distance is okay.
Also no problems with fast movements or the ball in flight.
However, there is a certain Pict position (do not remember which), when the flying ball, like a comet looks.
In this case, simply adjust the picture setting.
2. On-demand streaming, as Amazaon, Netflix, ...
All Steaming providers are on board: Amazon, Netflix, Maxdome, Watch Ever
Now I'm finally independent of external boxes. I stream via the included WLAN (n type, Stream 1) what works without jerking.
The Netflix app is actually breathtakingly great succeeded. So has an app look! :-)
I also have my Apple TV box. There, the Netflix app looks really frumpy.
A shame, as Apple can acidify this box. The main thing rausbringen a clock that nobody needs.
The apps can be marked as favorites, so that they can be found in the App Quick Reference. Which opens when you press the "Smart Hub" button.
So you quickly his main apps access. Very nice!
3. playability all my video / pictures from my PC over the network
Here I had only tested in the store on a USB stick the grunsätzliche playability of all sizes, but especially mkv.
Everything worked. Wonderful handling the way. I plugged the stick into the TV, he immediately asked me how I would like to have the contents displayed.
The LG-test TVs happening the way nix the tuck. Had me you navigate just to get at the contents of the stick.
Then I tested various DLNA server to display the content from my PC to the TV:
- Windows Media Player: The primary is unfortunately only Windows formats. MKV can not.
- Twonkey Server: Here you can play everything. However, he does not display all available folders. Was strange. The usability was basically not good. In addition, it also costs money.
- Plex: Finally, all folders appear that I have also enabled via the Plex server! Very good handling after some familiarization. But the TV shows the MKV movies not to. Arg!
Last attempt: The Plex App
Thankfully, there are at the available apps, even the Plex App. And with the work finally everything! My salvation! :-)
All movies are displayed and can be played. And not only that! On my computer I have a whole bunch of movies that I had taken over time (mkv).
Since Plex brings to each film that covers and synopses of the films from the Internet. Now I suddenly have a separate, beautiful library!
Where you have to invest some time that Plex also recognizes all movies (files name correctly). But this has made me very fun.
To make matters worse Plex also costs nothing.
The result is more than I expected in my wildest dreams!
Thank Plex.
4. Internal satellite receiver
Finally, I no longer need my external satellite receiver to watch movies!
The switching between SD and HD channels is very fast. Really great.
Unfortunately, the switch takes to HD Plus channel bit long. Damned encryption. I have but now accustomed.
The external satellite receiver I use only as a video recorder, because it, unlike television, the movies receiving unencrypted.
For the H-series there is still no descrambler for the recordings.
However, the internal satellite receiver has a bad (!) SD quality. This is a weak point of the TV.
However, a not inconsiderable. He forces a switch to HD-Plus, which is a disgrace. Images recorded with HD Plus films can not look at later!
What else is there to report:
- You can through the YouTube app also watch 4K content.
- The scene in HD me to skin. Simply breathtaking. It is transmitted "only" 720p.
720p resolution at 3 m viewing distance ranging completely out, for a brilliant viewing experience.
- I have a DVD player, I have connected via the Scart connection.
That's what I've looked at the Lord of the Rings DVD and was impressed. The display quality is really very good.
I had wondered if I buy a Blue-Ray player, because the well-to upscale the whole DVDs better.
But that's not necessary. Obviously creates the television the scale of non-HD content very well.
The same also applies to the whole SD movies from my PC or streaming services. No reason to complain.
Property me for example, looked at the time machine from 1960. You could look good.
- The television reflects. Like hell. During the day you can basically just watching TV when the blind is down.
Because we have roller blinds is not a problem. Evening but reflected lights in the TV, which can be noticed in dark movie scenes.
But look at the colors on this glossy screen of terrific good. A death you must die well.
- The initial image settings are poor, because of unnatural colors. How often reported. The key picture settings for a good picture are:
- Picture Mode: Movie
- Hue: Warm2
Everything else is tweaking.
- Basically a very good user experience! Did Sony, LG tested the new WebOS and Phillips, which was all very convincing.
Alone because of the great usability I would have bought my TV. Just fast, stable and intelligent.
- Excellent remote control with successful key assignment. Much better than, say, the cheap remote control from LG.
There is a second remote control with which I know nothing but to begin.
- He starts very fast! After 8 seconds, the TV is fully operational. And I've even turned off the Quick Start mode.
He had me that once caused problems, as the sound after power was not there.
Everything here again at a glance.
Positives:
- Picture quality in all resolutions SD, HD, Ultra HD (except SD Satellite)
- On-demand streaming and apps (all there)
- Streaming from PC (thanks to Plex)
- SAT receivers HD (fast and brilliant)
- Usability (further away from all other manufacturers)
- Super-Design from TV
- Starts quickly
Negatives:
- SAT Receivers SD
- Initial Image Settings
- Mirrors
