one of the plates of 2011

Wye Oak deliver "Civilian" for me from already one of the most interesting plates of 2011. Really erstaunenswert what the duo here for soundscapes creates - in fact it is also the hypnotic mood that now draws me already weeks into its spell. Any categorizations fit only annhährend for the American and exotic duo to own but their sound. Sometimes I feel like in the 90's set back, at other places I'm just surprised only by the many innovative ideas that brings hardly any of the so-called indie bands in a similar form on disk. Here a lot of patience has gone into the production and ascended a wide range of instruments in any case. Absolutely worth listening! Very nice the way that the vinyl comes with free MP3 download code.
