While on the photo site the display shows 8 independent charging channels, there is really only 4 batteries must be recharged in identical pairs (size, capacity). Returned item upon receipt because this important information was missing for me in the description on the site, and visible only on the leaflet IN the box. I preferred later to buy a little more another channel charger with battery operation and the possibility of discharge / charge / measurement capacity / load times.
