Only move units and read statistics! Have more real !! expected

I always liked these kind of games. Starting then with, inter alia, Western Front.
But today I just want to do something more in a game, move as units ONLY! Here at "War in the East" I can do nothing pure !!!
I would like to:
For example, my infantrymen equipped with new gun types and give them material, which improves their performance in the corresponding inserts.
Also for all other branches of service, I would like to decide which upgrade gets which unit itself.
Especially I do not have the economic part of the game, which is here not at this moment !!
I felt like a research-Tree, in which I myself decide when and which new unit or unit improvement is available.
Well, it is supposed to be historically accurate, unfortunately, but even then I could still choose in the towns me what I want to produce. This is not in the game, because every city or rather each production center produces what has been programmed and can not be changed by the player !!

So try to make the game even for me attractive, by the editor. Anyone who thinks the game is complex, is the editor has not seen. Because this is several times more complex than the game itself, but without being complicated. Yes, the editor I liked fabulously well.
However, because you need a lot of time, a lot of time. But the list of cities consists of several hundred !! At the sight of this interminable list a fast time flies like change on.
If you want, for example, produce earlier than planned one tank, one would have to change the start date of all dependent on this type of units.
Also did not deter me and changed a lot in some cities. Only this is not brought the desired fun factor, because I get in the game so no notification, which have now been completed, for example, 20 tanks in the city and I can assign these troops. Everything runs quietly in the background and the troops are automatically supplied.
Let us here straight on. The supply in the game depends on the HQ responsible for the respective unit. Basically okay, but I had the impression that every second unit has its own HQ. There were just too many to me !!! Furthermore, for me was never clear whether a unit is still within range of the HQs, or not. Yes, in a statistic, the distance is displayed to me, but I consider unhelpful.

Why the result of battle does not stop until I wegklicke it, so I can study it in peace ?? While I can press to pause, only the middle of pauses in the fighting calculation, it goes on then no longer also.

I go with the mouse over a unit, only symbols with number to view me. Why not write about it, what is this symbol of a unit type ?? Well, in the Forum at Matrix Games there for a mod that makes this. Can I really recommend.

City Sizes: Why was (apart from large cities), the different city sizes not shown instead of uniformly black dots differently ??

Conclusion:
For people who want to just have fun and joy while playing this game is not suitable. What is not due to the complexity of the game, or the poor graphics, no, there is a lack extremely to do something about opportunities even in the game.
