Outstanding Backup Solution

Use the device as a backup system for my local server. With regard to price / performance optimal. Connected via two network ports on a good switch (port trunking) I have a pretty good performance for data backup directly on the QNAP.

In this price range, the range of NAS holds with two network ports in borders and in QNAP I know that the system is reliable. Access to APC UPS via USB is also very well resolved.

The device is really very compact and is also barely warm - housed a 19 "wall case with me.

All the tools like Music Station, etc .. should be disabled and only the really required services are enabled.
It would certainly be useful to be able to select during the initial setup, for which the NAS is to be used and then automatically only the required services are enabled.
