But the real highlight is the ability to retrieve the data via smartphone app and evaluate. I have done me some time ago the Weightbot app for my iPhone to track my weight loss progress. The data we are usually by hand, but there is also the possibility to retrieve the data from Withings scale. At first I thought it was a mere gimmick, but now I do not want to miss the function.
The free app from Withings even I find annoying and for reasons that are likely to be a matter of taste. I do not value the scale from reason. The functionality that enables logging of the weight, goal setting, evaluation by appealing graphics are ultimately not objectionable even with the Withings app. But what bothers me is that the app evaluates the well-being according to the criteria weight, activity, sleep and heart. But this is not problematic. But for each of these aspects, there is again a Withings hardware (headbands, wristbands, blood pressure monitors), which you must use to determine the level of personal well-being. Only blood pressure can still detect "conventionally". I hate it when me a program leading in mind that, unfortunately, can not provide the full scope of services to me, because I do not have specific devices or plugins.
