Outstanding second solo album

Devon Allman is indeed from a musical family with the very best references, who is not familiar with the incomparable Allman Brothers with the brothers Duane and Gregg Allman ?!
Devon is the son of Gregg and you can hear that now, because the music is cut from the same wood as the Brothers.
After his solo debut "Turquoise" one year ago, now the second work of at least thirty years already musician and that's at least as good, maybe even a little bit better. Here my Hähepunkte:
It begins with the stormy funky rocker "Half The Truth", in which not only shine the guitars but mainly Devonian fantastic voice convinced and the handset tears immediately out of the chair! Incidentally: Devon has practiced very much on the guitar and you can hear that.
With "Canterbury Loose Em All" a midtempo song follows, which often recalls Santana, especially the guitar!
"Leavin 'is a quiet beautiful song with a fine acoustic lead guitar and who is being supported by Devon's voice.
In "Ill Be Around" is the soulful side of Devon to fruition, a very excellent catchy, in which the guitar again reminded of Santana.
"Midnight Lake Michigan" is a 9 1/2 minutes long instrumental with plaintive guitar that immediately draws you into its spell and no longer lets go !! Could almost come from Neil Young.
"Ten Million Slaves" is again determined by Devon's distinctive voice and the electrical and controlled, and with the rhythm section performed best work in Hibtergrund and the song constantly pushing forward.
With "Back To Young" is a true Blue song with viiiel Soul. Another killer song with a fantastic guitar work.
The title song "Ragged & Dirty" is a fine rocker, in which howls the guitar and the Hammond B3 whimpers as best Almann Brothers times.
The conclusion is to "Leave The City" a soulful acoustic song that ended an outstanding album for me,
how do you get these days to hear it no longer often. For all fans of the Allman or Tom Petty etc. etc.
