Was it still melodic on "Blizzard of Ozz", so was moved broadly cultivated the noise in the center of the successor "Diary of a Madman". On the third album, the expectations are not waiting for us both, and the romantic Cover disappointed. The title song is captivating and succeeded after 3 good, solid numbers, it is time for another highlight. At the beginning of "Centre of Eternity" will you look at the collection of the high priest in a black mass in front, then is it happening rocked, the melody burns immediately to the brain, perhaps before somewhere else heard anything like it, no matter the thing goes off as Schmidt's cat. After repeated attentive listening to the next number, "So tired," I will not shake the feeling to hear here an original version of Ozzy's later smash hit "Dreamer", a harder version though, it would not surprise me too much, would have the prince of darkness this number many years later radio friendly ironed. The last 3 numbers of this album will sound, no more, no less, in "Waiting for Darkness" I would have expected in the positive sense of the title in combination with the Cover a horror number, has not quite intended. In total, however, clearly outweigh the positives and therefore 5 of 5 stars.
