The Speaker of the flat-screen TV's, also of more recent are usually not the best. The Soundbar brings a good addition. The sound is much better and more enjoyable.
Unfortunately, there are a few quirks that you should keep a close watch. First is the equalizer, if one can call it so very scarce. Ups can not change it and since the TV-boxes have to serve.
Then the surround sound: Very disappointing. 5.1 or 7.1 is not what you expect. A Bluray with DTS 5.1 - Sound (supported format) comes to no good. Many effects stay on track and true 5.1 or 7.1 - sound is there none. While the Soundbar is for around 200 not bad, but in many cases you have to step back and be willing to compromise. Would the Optik not (clear coat), I would give it 3 stars.
