The brightness is correct. (That's not a room for a night club ... ;-)).
brightness is sufficient to see the time (the goal), and it also brings a light to the room lighting, which will reassure the little ones.
The second hand is much quieter than the majoritée clocks, but it still meant a little bit, but really very little. Anyway it disrupts sleep under any circumstances.
As regards the batteries: there are 4.
- 1 hour to operate,
- 3 for lighting.
I put February 2014 4 batteries (Duracell plus), and I have never changed since the batteries. and every night this clock lights ... because when we sleep, the lights in the house are off ... heuuuu ..... well ... like most people. hihihihi
Frankly, you can go there, it's a good product.
For p'tite history, since my son does not bother me at odd hours to get him to school ....
