the rubber part was damaged on my part. the coffee pot leaking everywhere. ordered, received quickly, not packaged well enough in my opinion because no protection for the tip, just a small paper bag bubble late in a paper envelope ... I put my new room and coffee maker leaves for a ride. thank you Amazon for even offer spare parts.
