The pump supplied really is not solid, but considering the price it is already nice to have one supplied with. Personally I used a bicycle pump with a nozzle. If not the ball itself is perfect. Thick enough not to break at the slightest dust. I use it to work on my flexibility and pelvic muscle strengthening core muscles.
