After several map updates the internal 8GB memory of my Garmin 2595 LMT navigation device was almost full, and it called for a micro SD card. I have no idea why the device is not simply replaced the outdated maps and the memory footprint is constantly growing. In short: After reading the other reviews I decided for a 16GB card from SanDisk, which was immediately recognized. Uploading the latest European map with almost 3.5 GB was very smooth and everything is working so far without complaint. The map we may but afterwards no longer be removed from the unit, otherwise it will not work anymore. A star I am afraid to pull off for the packaging, I could unpack the card only with the aid of a pair of scissors, which can very easily result in such a small map to the destruction, if you are not careful!
