The advertised speeds of 90MB / s read and 30MB / s write on USB 3.0 are widely exceeded: For a 4 GB file, the key displays 180MB / s read and 120MB / s write (copied from a course SSD). These flow rates are identical whether in FAT32 or NTFS formatted. On USB 2.0, the same copy is simply limited by the USB port, namely 25MB / s read and 20MB / s write. The cap can be clipped to the back of the key, a little more convenient. There is apparently no activity LED. PS: I do these tests on the 64 GB version.
