So the graphics cards without these DisplayPort, the signal can no longer send and there are still enough for the users. DVI, HDMI, etc. graphics card outputs the DP on the monitor no longer drive, the screen remains dark (no signal). This is not mentioned at all by the manufacturers. Conclusion, stay away from these monitors if the card does not have a DP connection, or to order equal to an appropriate graphics card to do so. One more thing, do not try with adapters, passive or active, it is not working. DisplayPort is compatible with nothing.
