After reading several recessions, I have decided for this compact device. Have previously noted no criticisms, Amazon has delivered on time before Christmas, unpacked and plugged in and off you go! Disturbing running noise I could not tell. Self-recorded DVD videos will "upgrade" by given better quality again and connected via HDMI cable also ensures stable connections! USB connection is also available, so that one normal external hard drives with video and photo about also can give back. I have so far not used, since I use a Multimedia Hard Drive LACIE for my HD videos this option. Those looking for an inexpensive and compact player, will find it here. Important to me was the silver front, which acts unfortunately almost chrome, matt would have been nicer, but that can get over. Remote control is actually a local operation, since one already partially nothing gets purely at 3m distance of signals!
