As one of the first owners of a Jambox in Germany I am already familiar with some small marvels of acoustics. I had at that time not much credited Even that little box and was disabused. The FoxL V2 actually still weighs significantly less than the Jambox and is only about half as large. That hereby something worth listening to organize can I dared then but doubt. But again, I was subject to error. In fact, the FoxL V2 significantly cleaner, ie distortion poorer and has a sound much less washed-bass, however the Jambox inferior in strength in nothing. However, the FoxL V2 whistles clearly audible during playback via Bluetooth, but only what one hears when one holds the transducer very close near the head. What makes these small speakers so amazing is that it is also well suited for playing music very nuanced. The dynamic range makes very neat and distortions do not occur even at very high volume levels. When designing the Jambox nose has, however, significantly forward. The FoxL simply does not look like a high-quality audio equipment and more like a juggler from Billigheimer. Here, the manufacturer should make conceptual thoughts. During processing there again nothing to complain about. The chassis is solid and nowhere creaks or wobbles slightly.
The Platinum Edition comes with some extras such as a better battery and a high-quality audio cable. The additional investment is worthwhile in this Preisgefilden all.
If the FoxL V2 because now its almost exorbitant price really worth. The answer must clearly be yes, even if such a high-end toys certainly not to everyone's liking. But for all those who on the train times to convince really from their own musical taste their passengers, this is certainly the first choice (do not implement - is' not allowed and especially real asocial).
Personally I use the part in connection with a LG HW300Y and a MacBook Air as a kind of mobile home cinema. In particular, because the converter when spread stereo signals not as bitchy as the Jambox, he is much better suited for this application as direct a contestant.
