The CD sounds in my opinion, much more brilliant, you hear more details in Clapton`s guitar playing. The centers are on the CD much better. The record sounds rather dull (in a direct comparison) and bass emphasized. However, I must also say that the plate throughout much "rounder" sound. The CD version is, how should I say, "revised", so this does not really sound natural. This makes the plate again sympathetic, even the warm and slightly "dirtier" sound of the record is the album better.
For me the perfect Neupressung would have been somewhere in the middle: center-weighted a little more, good space, a bit more details could do with mastering as well!
All in all I give the pressing quality full 5 stars, the sound quality good 3 star! Buy recommendation for this pressure ("Back to Black" - series), who does not own the album and listening to vinyl. Audiophile analog listeners will probably not be very happy with the sound of this pressure.
