As a little history. I grew up with the Super Nintendo, then had the PlayStation and PlayStation 2, and then had quite a long break with me, because the PlayStation 3 was quite expensive. So came the change to Nintendo (because the consumption of me and my girlfriend definitely a console last) with the Wii. Since then, I knew then that a new Wii U is coming, was regularly on my wishlist. What really is only mean - I am bound to nothing, like I jump between the brackets)

So, now for the review. I had alongside repeatedly persecuted, what other pages writing about the Wii U and do this even now. And I must say - makes you your own image. Because with increasing playing time on the Wii U came to me more and more benefits to the fore and I have to say that the relatively individually and therefore may appear mostly or never in the Games Magazine Forums. That's why here's my impressions at a glance, maybe it helps someone, I would be happy :).

Meanwhile, I was able to Batman Arkham City, Darksiders II, Zombie U, Nintendo Land, Sonic Racing Transformed and Super Mario Bros Preview and find all the really very well done. Often we read that one looks only up and down, because the controller displays - that's nonsense. Clear looking towards you, but only in moments when you call the Map, newly equip or playing around in the menu. And that does not happen on TV, but also during the game can be done, is really great.

Furthermore, I think it's great that if I had it out a hanger and do not get ahead in a game, I can, without ending the game, go to the console to the Internet, quickly bring me a tip, and on it goes. Same thing with the Communitiys, available for each game. Besides the exchange of news and reviews you will also find quick help with problem areas. In Nintendo Land, it is even so that you automatically receive at the level that one degree plays some useful messages from other players.

Furthermore, the player may at any time if the other in the household would like television, to continue the game on the display. Okay, it's small and not as comfortable as the big TV screen, but the idea is great and actually came several times to use. Even when I casually pursuing something on TV, I can still play.

The next point is the "silent play". If one of us has something to work on laptop and no disturbing noises between endures, provides you the TV sound from simple and lets the sound through headphones run on the gamepad and plays on the television on. (Unfortunately, our TV has no headphone inputs).

A common criticism is the currently somewhat sluggish game support. The control with the gamepad is really super succeeded it fits comfortably in your hand and just in Nintendo Land, but also in other games, it offers a wonderful opportunity to fifth Multiplayer games instead of playing only four.

The included here Zombie U I find really great. A dirty flair that runs oppressively through the whole game. With growing season grew in me the joy of playing and the idea with the survivors is also so never happened in my opinion in survival horror games. Trying to survive just great and its own way as long as possible, rather than to sacrifice the game offers own ranking, with which you can compete with other players.

So summarized. Stands on the various internet sites, as so often, often primarily negative sides of the new console. But you grow with it and while playing you learn more and know more advantages. In addition, the gamepad is really innovative and even though the graphics are only competing on the same level as the current Sony and Microsoft, I have to say anyway (or somewhat higher?): A really great console. Also - graphics are not everything important is a good game experience and there is more to it than good graphics. Nintendo has shown courage and I think it was worth it.
