I had 3 side cutters in my toolbox.
All "no name / budget" products that are likely to eventually landed from some "grab bag" in my suitcase.
I've never really understood why there side cutter where the only thing that intersects the handle is who wants to drill gradually into their own hands.
Once the wire was slightly thicker, it was made with the cutting.
That was more of a pull and turn until sometime under enormous effort the wire gave way.
Now to the Knipex Diagonal Cutter!
Unwrapped, searched wire and whoosh, he was already through.
I could do this all day long, without that I get blue or sores on your hands.
By hardened cutting edges, the wire is cut cleanly and not as usual in cheap models, squeezed.
If only for the side cutter, the set, the order was worth.
what I like:
- The clamps are very nice and processed with a lot of material.
- The handles are very comfortable to hold.
- All pliers are beautifully smooth but have no "game" on.
- These are tools, made in Germany.
It's just like everywhere in life, who buys cheap buys several times and is in the end back where he started.
