Update 1/13/2015:
Property now the 2nd replacement camera from Amazon and get tested, but unfortunately still having the same problem! Would be nice if Amazon would check with the manufacturer, and can replace any defective batch to send instead spare cameras with the same error image despite error description in the replacement request.
Current error image more accurately tested: Crack in WIFI-RC in periodic sequences in quick succession; WIFI in apps like with WinPhone permanent helicopter cracking; WIFI off, then recording ok without cracking!
Pay me now and get an additional test, compared with the serial number, since it allegedly is also functioning Hero4 from the local market. Because I will not just rely on the announced firmware update. Maybe I'm lucky.
The Hero4 black would be without these stupid mistake a sharp action camera which I do not want to miss (with more than 5 stars). Especially in view of the announced upgrade in February.
Update 07/02/2015:
Camera Update on V02.00.00 from 02/04/2015 Although brought many new and improved features, but unfortunately no improvement of the clicking sound when the WIFI !! The same clicking sound as before! Have therefore returned the Hero4 Black. Amazon clarifies lt. Feedback now the error image with the supplier and report instead of replacement rather the purchase amount. Too bad that the problem with the GoPro camera update apparently could not solve! Hopefully then with the next hardware release or production ?!
