"Precharged" - no, only 50%, capacity ~ 800mAh

The package arrived at my eneloops the bears the production date 07.2013. The batteries are therefore 13 months old and should at 85% capacity after one year (so the packaging!) So have approximately 650mAh capacity, if you want to believe the label "precharged".

In fact, had the batteries after removal from the pack capacity 338mAh and 343mAh between. So you should not be relied upon to have here directly from the package a replacement for alkaline AAA batteries - these have some 1000mAh capacity.

After the initial charge, the four eneloop 786mAh to 813mAh totaled. The one year of storage at the merchants therefore seem to have done them no good.
