Preferable to the current models

I am conscious of this "old" model and towards choosing the current models, because I've read and seen in all relevant websites that the image quality of the new, max. equivalent to my TZ5, however, is always worse than the TZ25.

The competitors from Sony and Canonund Co. provides bottom line the same features but also no better image quality.
In addition to that the TZ25 exactly fits into the existing leather bag of old TZ5 again.
Coupled with the fact that I've always been happy with the old Panasonic, gave decisive to grab again about this brand.

Important for me so were the image quality, even in low light conditions, and a good quality video.
I would have liked to have had a reliable panorama function.
I could do without GPS and Megazoom of 20x and more and more gimmicks.

Equal first. The Panormafunktion, maybe I'm Not able to use the correct generated, to my mind almost unusable images. It is always a motion blur to see and the trim is top & bottom very large. Since I rely rather then on PC software that can create me a panorama from individual images. There's a star deduction here.

Otherwise I'm just full of praise. Especially when one considers that this model does not even have myself tasted half of the current model.

For image quality.
This is how actually all digicams, in daylight, especially in the sun, very good.
On PC at 100%, there may be any models that "finer" by reworking preserve more details. But, this application is an exception for me.

If the light is less, however this camera accuses their strengths.
The ability to have multiple - added in rapid succession - to combine images in a recording that allows even at night blur and evocative images take without a flash.

Option described above, is in principle also behind the HDR feature. Here the shots with untershiedlichen exposure parameters are made, what more dynamic images created (bright enriches not override, whereas dark corners are well lit).

The videos that I've done so far, I have to correct. Picture and sound quality are ok. The zoom also works during recording, albeit slowly, but quietly. Not least the fact that there is no stereo sound is recorded, the device making but of course not to replace a real video camera.

I am also satisfied with the battery life. Under normal circumstances, I could through a whole vacation day to work with it.

The supplied battery charger not heard with which you can charge the battery outside, is already a shortage.
Since the purchase price is however as low enough budget remains, here at Amazon Shop with charger & battery for about 20 - to get.

All in all I am very pleased with this unit and would each akuellen Travel Zoom, all manufacturers prefer.
