The Beautiful Letdown (Audio CD)

Customer Review

The CD already in mid-2003, published in the US currently uses to were highs and has already reached the Top 15. The first single, made me aware of the band "Meant to Live", a typical mainstream rocker with cool, slightly harder guitar riffs. The song has now been used at the Spiderman soundtrack, which probably explains the good chart position. The song, however, is not really representatively for the CD because it offers mainstream American pop-rock to serene, lively way that is fun.
The other highlights of the CD are:
* This Is Your Life: Nice slow rock song with keyboards
* More than fine: pop rock with acoustic guitars and accordion as support
* Ammunition: Is a little more gas and rocks really
* Dare to move: The 2nd single of the CD, quiet acoustic guitar at its best, slow soulful. Interestingly, when the rock guitar to come
With "24" and "On Fire", there are only 2 real ballads on the CD. Thus, the CD starts with a right rocker is then more poppy, the 2nd half of the CD then has very little to do with rock. Nevertheless, the songs pleasing tunes, experimenting with different instruments and so create a real holiday atmosphere.
If you like the sound of "matchbox 20", "Jimmy Eat World" or "Train", should belong into this part. I would imagine that even in Europe still envelops this CD.
