I have the SZ 8 now for 2 months in use and am very satisfied with the camera. Important to me was a light weight and a nice long focal length, I mean Canon EOS 700 has rauszücken traveling not always. Overall, the result is that the image quality is very satisfactory. Every now and then the push had at dusk a few focus issues, but I also know from my other digital cameras (Sony WX 220 and Nikon S 3600). Otherwise, the images are good. Other features such as WiFi, creative filters and manual ISO speed setting can be proud of and are rare in this price range. The quality of the videos is impressive, however, was rarely used by me. A nice point, that one did not need a separate battery charger and the battery could be charged inside the camera. Thumbs up!
