Before I bought the camcorder, I first looked around in many forums as I can handle 1080p50 format on my iMac.

Footage in 1080p50 (.mts) with the Automator scripts Rewrap2M4V.app "convert that uses Clipgrap in a .m4v going super fast. The material can now be viewed in QuickTime or another viewer. (" Perian "should be installed, otherwise there may be problems with the sound giving) - see also Apple Support Forum - Topic Panasonic HDC TM700

Then make with "MPEG Streamclip" the rough cut and convert to Apple Intermediate Code 720p25. Is no longer quite as fast but is not so tragic. Last but not least all the files in Final Cut Express Import (Sequence Setting Apple Intermediate Codec 1280X720 25fps) and have fun - no rendering erfordlich

The camera is excellent, but that have indeed been here many given of themselves.
