Psyllium husks are generally a blessing.

Have long, long years under a delicate bowel (IBS) suffered. Until me a doctor Flohsamenschalen recommended in combination with magnesium tablets. Since then, everything is wonderful. Have now tried this product, because it is cheaper than Mucofalk. While it does not have the good taste of Mucofalk (Orange). But before I barely taste it (down with it), the higher price of Mucofalk is therefore not appropriate for me.
Note: on the package is "swell short". Short is relative. Whoever waits too long, may have problems swallowing. I do it always so: a teaspoon into the glass. Rinse with tap water and drink it the same. Then taste it hardly anything (although if ever taste this product more like cardboard. What is not so bad) and it is easy to runterzubekommen. Oh and drink behind at least a glass of help.

After an important note: Psyllium should NOT just before lying down (sleeping, dozing, whatever) be taken. There may be (as it was with me) come to heartburn.
