I own this pump for more than a year, and have it as an irrigation pump for a greenhouse in use. The pump basically works well. But she has massive problems when the pressure difference between water line and water line closed open small. Consider the following scenario to explain. The pump delivers water from a rainwater barrel to a greenhouse and watered over seven water jets from Rainmaster the crops. The whole is a timer which opens the water line and closes again once a day for 15 minutes controlled. The pressure difference across the seven nozzles is large enough so that the pump turns on, but: The back pressure is so great that tearing at the base of the first pump and the sucked water was pushed back over the base in the barrel! This pump has been replaced, and I have reduced the backpressure by more nozzles. The second pump is now switched after closing the water strand of considerable time delay. Today I found that the pump has remained switched on for 18 hours and the full 200 liter drum to hand warm heated ca 30 degrees. From my experience I would not recommend this automatic pump. Better a normal pump, which is provided with a float switch and is controlled by a timer.
