Punk Rock + Metal + excellent songwriting = slope

So far I knew only a smattering of Lagwagon songs plus the 1998 album "Let's Talk About Feelings" of Californians. Somehow I lost the troops then out of sight. After a long hiatus to Lagwagon now report with "slope" back, and I'm very pleasantly surprised. The songs are absolute by the bank hits with allergrößtem catchy at the same time they are for punk rock but also partly quite complex. But the six-minute "Obsolete Absolute" comes with many different parts and twin guitars. Not just the robust sound gives the album a metallic paint, songs like "The Cog In The Machine" are significantly more metal than punk. "Hang" from start to finish was amazing, I would even call it probably the best punk rock album of the year. Hats off, I had truly Lagwagon not have expected.
