If You Can not Stand the Heat (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Once up to the legendary "Live" album but sounded the slices of Status Quo early 70s pretty similarly, were the production of Pip Williams with "Rockin'All Over The World," "Whatever You Want" and even " If You cant't Stand The Heat "released three albums the late 70s, which brought more variety at least in part. Unlike the other two mentioned albums and the title track, however, "The Heat" was missing a rousing single release.
The bassist of the group, Alan Lancaster, would later say about this album: ". I felt That We had lost our direction with this album" I would but this impression quite positive formulate: You can tell that the song credits are distributed very balanced, and so can be found on "If You cant't Stand The Heat" - more than on any other albums - a whole range of titles that sound not we the usual 08/15-Quo sound. Overall a well above average album with a variety of good rock songs.
Unfortunately, the bonus material is weak: In an anniversary series such actually need more bonus songs or at least unpublished live recordings on the disc.
