What I like:
The keyboard is assembled from 7 individual parts, which is ever ingenious. Here you can decide which components you want to use or not.
The entire underside of the keyboard is wonderful reinforced with metal elements. In addition, a slip of the keyboard is excluded. The fold-out feet are also rubberized metal or partially.
Unlike almost all other manufacturers were finally respected here once on stability and value, which I really appreciate.
The individual components can be fixed wonderfully and easily using the supplied screws.
All 3 palm rest can be adjusted individually.
The display also like it a lot. Robust knobs and a touch system to make a high-quality impression. Delays I can not find.
All keys are accompanied by an underground lighting (optional in various. Color).
The design of this keyboard is unique and grandiose, the lighting gives the whole once again a bonus.
What is of vital importance:
The key action mechanism and thus the most important thing on a keyboard is unfortunately absolutely not in accordance with the present quality standard. Here definitely Blue Cherry switches must be installed.
Spacebar, Enter and right Shift key must be stabilized. The left palm rest is advised to wobbly by the additional height adjustment.
Two USB 3.0 ports and EVT. Sound input / output would still be nice.
The Mac OS compatibility you should still keep an eye on.
Really a pity, but for me as a former. Professional gamers as well for people who have high standards to your peripheral devices, this device is not convincing.
The high price would be absolutely justified by the improvements mentioned above, currently it is not, unfortunately.
I look therefore expectantly to the next model of Mad Catz.
