"The chamber of curiosities" allowed me to know these two authors. "The croaking of the night" have allowed me to make a reference. Although this PENDERGAST Inspector supremely annoys me sometimes, I recognize that this novel is quickfire, however timidly early enough to let know the characters and the action takes from page to page a density such that you will hardly to detach yourself from this voluminous novel and the great final even if the man hunt through the maze of caves in this small town KANSAS of results in a number of police officers remaining on the impressive tile. I also agree with another reviewer about the translation which is particularly successful.
