My 10 year old daughter, not very reader of novels so far, just had "the trigger" for the kind recently, thanks to Daniel Pennac. She devoured a row-and ...- series Kamo and the Eye of the Wolf, and now Cabot Noggin. I urge you, parents of children this age, to propose reading to your children. The style is very fluid (like Pennac ...), but the vocabulary level is a bit higher than the average children's books. Also, for your wags fit into the story, I suggest you put a "little kick starter" ... by making them yourself reading the first chapters. This should not be a sacrifice, you will see ... Personally, I enjoyed myself!
