First thing, do not buy this book without buying volume 1: the author moultes references to this one, without a solid foundation in psychosomatic medicine or you may feel lost. The book describes in detail the various bone diseases, muscle, tendon and uses concrete examples drawn from the experience of Dr. Sellam, to illustrate the intricacy of mental disorders in bodies more familiar with painkillers and anti-inflammatories. The book is clear, not without humor. The only downside is that by focusing on the results achieved and on the origin of evil, Dr. Sellam often obscures the difficulty he has to connect to psychological suffering to a somatic pathology: sometimes it is not so magical, it takes time and it hurts. But a very good book, rigorous, enjoyable, and quite disturbing for any practitioner fresh out of the academy.
