Reference version pending the blu-ray

This is the best adaptation of Dumas' novel. Dantes undergoes a metamorphosis and becomes this terrible vigilante like the musketeers Athos. Jean Marais is perfect in this role roaring lion. Unfortunately, in this old edition of the scenes are absent. It is time to release a full version with a new master in blu-ray. It is unfortunate to see that our publishers we try to place recent versions and mostly mediocre (Depardieu would have done better to abstain!). I would not be surprised to see as was the case with the Hunchback or Angelique series a Blu-ray / DVD land in England or Russia before France. Despite its age and defects, we have here in 2012 a much higher output than blu-ray with Jourdan without charisma despite the efforts of the great Autant-Lara.
