Big fan of the Green Guides until then I can only disapprove of the new collection. To hide a significant price increase, Michelin has just cut her in two guides. If the Green Guide Alsace-Lorraine cost 15.40 to 2010, it now presents itself in two volumes (Alsace-Vosges and Lorraine) with a total price of almost 30.00. If only the content ... But nothing followed. A new more airy layout but not for much more readable, often uninspired pictures that occupy an entire page, as are no more major cities planes before but generously placed mostly empty on a double page. As for information, it is much the same, I even ask myself if an update was performed. So to get to 450 pages that would justify the price of the two volumes, Michelin did not seek further: in addition to the new layout, they simply incorporated the same chapters in the two books. Thus, Chapter around Saverne and that of the High-Vosges are absolutely identical in the two Green Guides (Alsace-Vosges and Lorraine), making a total of 120 pages "copied and pasted" in both books, plus some Luxembourg to the guide on the Lorraine, pulled the Green Guide Belgium-Luxembourg. It feels slightly scam ... In short, big disappointment for the new Green Guides I recommend same. It is as well informed (or better since some sites have been described previously deleted by the editor) with former Green Guides that are still used, at lower prices. And it is all the more regrettable that the collection Voyager practice, most complete and most convenient ... Michelin editions stopped.
