Since the device itself is still perfectly fine and I did not want to replace the same, I have taken it apart to look up only once, which is installed as a battery. This is a normal Mignon type, how everywhere else can use it.
With some effort I got him out and also have him simply be replaced with a new one.
Now the trimmer is purring again! :-)
The dismantling was a bit fiddly. I could not completely separate the shells, only just enough that I the battery - could take out - sitting in a small plastic frame. For this purpose it is necessary to previously pull the two parts of the stage adjustment, which is not easy when circulating collar.
The contacts were glued to the battery at the poles, but can be solved and even later pinch again thanks to the frame so that permanent contact.
When removing the adjuster ring you have to pay attention to the small detent - a mini metal part with a small spring - not too loose. The must then be inserted into the recess before to setup the ring back again, of course. Otherwise the function later snapped no longer a.
As I said: The whole thing is a little fiddly but with a little patience and skill doable. For those who do not want to throw away their good and familiar beard trimmer - only because the battery is over - at least worth a try.
