Replacement of inefficient FritzBox DECT Base

But now my eye-opening experience of joyful kind:

I was unhappy with the DECT range of my Fritz box, it constantly came there on the DECT route to scratches, dropouts, pops, noise on the telephone, I looked for an alternative.

My 3 pieces at the Fritz box directly registered Gigaset S810H should of course continue to be usable.

Short Google questioned about the case of a problem -> DECT problem the Fritz box is widely known and named.

Alternatives: Gigaset bases S790, S810, C610 IP, opted for the latter because of direct SIP telephony over 1und1.

In the bay because of the lower price of about 30, - a single C610 IP base auctioned.
As this was intended for the French market, the tone scheme to "Germany" had to be changed.
Otherwise, it makes permanent "tut-tut-tut -..." during the call setup.

After delivery unpacked, connected, connected via Ethernet cable to the Fritz box to LAN2, registered handsets,
SIP configuration (present at IP no. 6 start, IP 1 therefore occupy only with full utilization), adapted in various settings FritzBox and C610 IP.

After commissioning the C610 IP sporadically lost the SIP credentials
Also there was the night after the provider DSL forcing running often erroneous re-registrations.
By means of a firmware update were both problems fixed (Version 42 196, manually, not work automatically!).
In an emergency, you can change this firmware version again to the state of delivery or that of the previous version.

The automatic searches for firmware updates in FritzBox and C610 IP was still off.

- SIP and RTP port require specific adaptation SIP port -> 49060, RTP port -> 49004-49008.
- Same ports must be entered in the Fritz box under "Internet, approvals, port clearances".
- In addition may not be set to "active" indicated by the Fritz box VOIP numbers.
- By no means a FritzBox internal IP telephone set (risk of abuse by unsafe firmware !!!)
- DECT base in the FritzBox disabled (7360 has now been replaced by 3390).

Against choppy language while phoning helped the following:
- Export of the FritzBox settings
- Add directly under "Language = de" the text "NoChecks = yes"
- Then voip.cfg in all sections by text editor, the entries tx_packetsize_in_ms to the value 20 set
- Import of FritzBox settings -> Reboot the Fritz box

Side effects:
Other SIP provider can be exploited.
When answering machine can use the Network Mailbox.
